The Coalition to Protect Cyclists and Pedestrians (CP2) is a collection of neighbors, commuters, and families demanding a city where walking and biking aren't acts of bravery.
A Connected, Protected City We aren't just asking for bike lanes; we are asking for a fundamental shift in how St. Louis views public space.
Our streets are currently designed for speed, not safety. From the wide thoroughfares of North City to the busy intersections of South Grand, our infrastructure fails the most vulnerable road users. We are fighting against:
It’s easy for City Hall to ignore a statistic. It’s much harder to ignore a crowd. The CP2 Monthly Bike Bus is more than just a commute—it’s a rolling protest for the right to exist safely on St. Louis streets. On the third Friday of every month we gather from neighborhoods across the city, picking up riders along the way, forming a protected "bus" of bicycles that takes up space and demands respect. Join us to show St. Louis that our streets belong to people, not just cars. Bring your bike, bring a friend, and let’s ride for the future of our city.
We are regularly adding new ways to join the ride. Check out our instagram for the latest updates on route options.
